Job summary

Bradley Professional, A Division of the Bradley Group, is seeking a Plant Manager for a manufacturing client in Conover, NC. The role oversees all plant operations including production planning, materials management, warehouse, and process development, and reports KPI performance to CEO and leadership while driving continuous improvement.

The candidate will lead root cause analysis, safety and 5S practices, and develop leadership across the plant; success hinges on cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs, financial performance, and workforce development.
• Experience presenting performance results to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor KPI performance; prepare weekly KPI reports for CEO and leadership (15%).
• Maintain and create specs, recipes, and data documentation for production changes (5%).
• Lead production planning and scheduling optimization; coordinate raw material availability (3%).
• Coordinate raw materials with procurement; supervise cycle counts and material flow (5%).
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations; manage material flow and staging (5%).
• Oversee PDF process from concept to commercialization, including fiber trials (5%).
• Lead root cause analysis for CARs; approve actions and training updates (11%).
• Oversee employee development; conduct evaluations and coaching; implement improvements (10%).
• Plan development of PM, Fabrication manager, and materials roles; ensure succession (20%).
• Manage bonus incentive data collection and reporting; ensure accuracy (1%).
• Ensure housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards; serve as cross-functional liaison (5%).
• Allocate floor time effectively to maximize operational impact (10%).
