Job summary

Precor, Incorporated is seeking a Supply Planner to drive global inventory replenishment plans that meet customer needs. You will balance inventory requirements with customer fill rate expectations and coordinate with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, and other departments.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, continuous improvement, and potential leadership on special projects. A strong background in MRP/DRP, SAP, and Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of supply planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Fundamental understanding of clear-to-build analysis.
• Skill in building inventory analysis and time-series modeling in Excel.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and proactive, collaborative communication approach.
• Strong customer service focus and follow-through in meeting internal client needs.
• Accountability to achieve goals and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Must use a variety of computer programs/systems, at an advanced level, to track results (Excel, Email, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Agile).

Responsibilities

• Global Inventory Replenishment Plans: Develop and optimize global inventory replenishment plans for finished goods, raw materials, and customer service parts to align with demand plans.
• Dynamic Plan Adjustments: Monitor conditions and adjust plans to meet inventory and revenue goals.
• Data Utilization: Use MRP and DRP systems to gather data over an 18–24 month rolling horizon.
• Safety Stock Management: Maintain safety stock levels across inventory tiers and locations.
• KPI-Driven Planning: Review plans for exceptions and manage abnormal demand focusing on KPIs like forecast accuracy and customer fill rate.
• Inter-departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and production teams on lean replenishment systems (Kanban, VMI).
• Product Lifecycle Inventory Management: Drive end-to-end inventory strategies for NPIs, engineering changes, and phase-out transitions; track E&O risk and cannibalization; ensure run-out.
• Special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
