Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Kotlin Backend Engineer to join the Mobile Service Layer. This contract role based in Atlanta combines Kotlin/Java backend work with Spring Boot, GraphQL, and microservices in a hybrid work setting.

You'll design and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs, support high-volume mobile apps, and contribute to BFF architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building production backends with Kotlin.
• Backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with microservices and CI/CD.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS) and scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production backend services in Kotlin and Java

Immediate need for a talented Kotlin Backend Engineer – Mobile Service Layer (Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL). This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta,GA (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $62- $70/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build production backend services in Kotlin and Java
• Develop scalable REST and GraphQL APIs
• Build and evolve the Mobile Service Layer / Backend for Frontend (BFF)
• Support high-volume, low-latency services used by mobile applications
