King David Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Kosher Chef to assist the Food Service Director in the smooth operation of the dietary department in our main kitchen. You will lead sanitation, ensure high-quality Kosher meals, maintain proper food temperatures, and ensure timely delivery while fostering a positive, cooperative team environment.

The role requires a culinary degree with at least 1 year of experience managing high-volume operations, plus strong menu

Qualifications

• Culinary degree and at least 1 year of experience managing a high-volume food service operation.
• Ability to write menus and recipes and create high quality food
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, inspection processes and all FDA and Ohio Department of Health regulations
• Experience with staff training, team building, and leadership
• Word/Excel/Power point proficiency required
• Well-developed organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of budgeting, ordering, inventory and tracking processes

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Service Director in smooth operation of the dietary department
• Lead sanitation practices and ensure high standards of hygiene
• Ensure top restaurant quality Kosher food for residents and staff
