Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• TB test valid within last 24 months.

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, family members, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, meal prep, cleaning, safety).
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support well-being.
• Monitor and document client progress and report changes to supervisors.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe environment.

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care, based in Sacramento, is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking dedicated and caring HCA (Home Care Aide) caregivers to join our team. If you are passionate about helping others and have a heart for senior care, and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
