Job summary

IncrediCare in North/Northeast Virginia is seeking Thai-speaking caregivers to support a Thai-speaking client at home. The role emphasizes meaningful connection within the Thai community and one-on-one senior care in a home setting.

We welcome PCAs, CNAs, HHAs, and those wanting to train as PCA. Immediate openings, flexible shifts, and paid training with dementia-certified trainers are offered; bilingual English/Thai is required and both male and female caregivers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards per CDC COVID-19
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary considerations
• Respectful, compassionate with strong bedside manner
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance for required tasks
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Help with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Help with completing physical therapy and other recommended exercise
• Complete shopping or accompany community members when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets
