Job summary

IncrediCare is seeking PCA/CNA/HHA caregivers or trainees in Virginia to join a dementia-focused team offering flexible evening shifts and compassionate home-based support for seniors. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and mobility, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) certification.
• Willingness to adhere to CDC health guidelines related to COVID-19.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation with dietary awareness.
• Must be compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help with ambulation and mobility for seniors at home or in the community.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with completing physical therapy and other exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients for errands.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers and professionals.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets.

Responsibilities

• Help with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

• Assist with personal care and hygiene

• Help with completingphysical therapy and other recommended exercise

• Complete shopping or accompany community members when they shop if needed

• Perform light housekeeping duties that community members can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets

Requirements:

• Previous caregiver experience preferred
