Job summary

Right at Home West Los Angeles based in Santa Monica seeks professional, dedicated Caregivers/HCAs to support clients with daily living activities. You must drive clients to appointments or run errands (valid driver's license and insured vehicle).

Bilingual capabilities (Korean, Mandarin, Tagalog, or Thai) are preferred to assist the family. The role offers competitive pay starting at $20–$21 per hour, with overtime, 401(k) matching and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have valid/registered Dept. of Social Services HCA license.
• Must speak Korean, Mandarin, Tagalog, or Thai.
• Current TB test & CPR certification.
• 6 months verifiable caregiving experience.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle (registered/insured).
• Preference for Tagalog speakers.

Responsibilities

• Provide standby supervision and safety monitoring to support independence and health.
• Assist with daily living activities and light homemaking tasks.
• Support the client and spouse to remain safely at home.

Join Right at Home West Los Angeles based in Santa Monica, an award-winning leader in home care. We are seeking professional, dedicated Caregivers/HCAs to support clients with daily living activities. We are located on 14th St. in Santa Monica and serve a wide local area.

Case Summary:

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90015 (Must be able to work in this zip code)

Hours: Thursdays (preferred, but may consider another weekday) either 9-5pm or 10-6pm

Requirements: Must be able to drive clients in their car to appointments or run errands (valid driver's license is required- see below for other requirements.).Must speak either Korean, Mandarin, Tagalog, or Thai.

Care Needs: the client remains largely independent but is at increased fall risk and is recovering from a recent cardiac event. Standby supervision, safety monitoring, and light assistance will help maintain his independence while protecting his health. Companion and homemaker services will also support the wife and help sustain the couple’s ability to remain safely in their home.
