Job summary

Language Services Associates is looking for Korean interpreters to join its network for on-site interpreting assignments in the Summit, NJ region. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter, you will deliver accurate interpretation services across varied settings and maintain professional standards.

Qualified candidates are fluent in English and Korean, with at least 1 year of interpreting experience preferred and certifications such as CMI or CCHI welcomed.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Korean
• The ability to provide a high level of client service
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
