Job summary

Language Services Associates in Summit, NJ is seeking Korean interpreters to join its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will facilitate language communication for LEP communities across diverse settings and report on-site to accepted assignments.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Korean, deliver high levels of client service, and have 1+ year interpreting experience; industry certifications (CMI, CCHI, etc.) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Korean.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
