Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Korean interpreters in the Summit, NJ area to join its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will facilitate language communication across settings for LEP communities as part of LSA’s contractor network, reporting on-site for accepted assignments with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualified candidates are fluent in Korean and English, with strong client-service skills and 1+ year interpreting experience preferred; certifications

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Korean.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings such as CMI or CCHI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
