Job summary

NTC Language Services is seeking reliable and professional English/Korean Educational Interpreters for part-time, as-needed employment in NYC. Interpreters will provide in-person interpretation services in NYC, New York.

Educational Interpreters facilitate clear, accurate, and culturally responsive communication among students, families, educators, administrators, and other school professionals. Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in both English and Korean.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak proficiently in both English and Korean.
• Experience or training in educational interpretation preferred.
• Strong listening, comprehension, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret accurately between English and Korean during meetings and conferences.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school-based meetings.
• Maintain neutrality, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
