Job summary

BTI Solutions, Inc. seeks a Korean bilingual SAP FI Consultant to support Samsung Electronics USA across multiple sites in Plano, TX. You will analyze requirements, tailor SAP FI configurations, and drive data conversion and training efforts to ensure smooth deployments.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP, ECC6, and ideally S/4HANA with ABAP debugging and EDI experience. You will provide on-call support, document processes, and guide end users through complex technical needs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Korean and English) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science / IT related field.
• 5+ years as a functional or business consultant with SAP applications.
• Experience with SAP FI in ECC 6 environment.
• Full lifecycle SAP implementation with FIS/4HANA preferred.
• TR module experience preferred.
• ABAP debugging preferred.
• EDI documentation and processing familiarity.
• Project management experience in SAP projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and tailor SAP FI usage to objectives.

SAP FI ConsultantDuties and responsibilities:Analyze customer requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.Develop project plans and timelines to successfully deploy solutions and assist with data conversionFull support of users within all relevant sites of Samsung Electronics USA. Identify and understand end users technical SAP FI requirements, provide necessary training and documentation, work to build and maintain strong end user relationships and provide on-going supportResponsible for the support and communication with HQ for the implementation management and optimization of new and existing processes within SAP module FI as needed to support customer requirementsMotivated formulate process improvements resulting from support issues, with the aim of minimizing recurring supportProvide strategic guidance to users in defining or designing processes to meet customer requirements; document existing customer business processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend system improvements and provide backup for SAP consultants as neededMonitor and report on the status of any issues, proactively review and interpret performance against operating standards; provide information and reports resultsServes as the primary on-call support person for trouble shooting and correcting system issuesOff business hours and holidays support required during month end closing support, special sale promotion period(4th of July, Black Friday, Christmas, etc.) and occasional critical issue situationQualifications:Bilingual (Korean and English) PreferredBachelor’s degree in Computer science / related discipline with an information technology focus5+ years of experience as a functional or business consultant with SAP applicationsExperience within SAP FI in an ECC 6 environmentFull lifecycle SAP implementation with expertise in FIS/4 Hana experience preferredTR module experience preferredABAP debugging skill preferredExperienced in processing a variety of EDI document types and familiarityIn-depth technical knowledge working with EDI related systems and architectureProject management experience that involves conceptualizing, organizing, planning, executing test, training users and documenting training materialsDemonstrated experience and understanding of system development life cycle, dynamic of application development and information technology practices and methodsCompetencies:Strong interpersonal and leadership skills exemplified in team work, understanding of business and customer requirement and good communicationWillingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions including the persistency and willingness to take calculated risk within the organizationAble to understand customer priorities and work toward accomplishing those prioritiesAbility to perform in a high pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problemsManage the time and attention based on assigned job roles and objectivesPay Range: $85,000/year ~ $105,000/yearBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)retirement plan; paid sick leave; life, accidental death & dismemberment(AD&D), and long-term disability (LTD) insurance; and optional voluntarylife/AD&D coverage.
