Cesna Recruitment in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Korean bilingual Mechanical Engineer for a 100% onsite, full-time role with benefits within a global automotive electrical systems manufacturer.

You will conceptualize and detail mechanical designs with CATIA V5, create 3D data and drawings, build prototypes for testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedules and customer expectations, while applying strong problem-solving and communication skills in English and Korean.

Competenze

• Five years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and CAD software.
• Creative thinking and innovative mindset.
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English; Korean bilingual preferred.

[About Our Client]

This client is a global manufacturer of automotive electrical systems. They manufacture and supply wiring harnesses, harness components, connectors, electronic products, high voltage systems, electron junction blocks, and ecofriendly products.

[Job Description]

• Conceptualize and create mechanical designs for new products
• Create and review 3d data, drawings by using CATIA V5
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within customer’s expectations
• Manage timing and specification for testing and validation of new designs
• Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources
• Research the market and developing the part with supplier
• Creating and enhancing products that fill a niche in the market or allow their clients to remain competitive
• Supporting manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development
• Submitting proposals and designs for evaluation by the project team and management before moving to the next stage

• 1-5 years of solid experience in similar roles (Entry level welcome !)
• Mechanical engineering knowledge
• Familiarity with CAD and other mechanical design software : CATIA V5 especially
• Creative thinking and innovation
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
• Must be fluent in English
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.
