Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager in Santa Clara to lead the accounting function, manage closing processes, and drive process improvements. The role requires deep knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, a CPA or Big 4 background, and strong leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate will oversee GL activities, revenue reviews, and technical accounting research, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize efficiency and automation across the accounting organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of Accounting experience (public company exp desirable).
• Korean bilingual proficiency.
• CPA and/or Big 4 experience preferred.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; experience writing accounting memos.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS; ability to exercise sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and GL accounting for divisions.
• Review revenue transactions and guidance with Sales org.
• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS.
• Support external audits and internal process improvements.
• Develop and implement process improvements; drive automation where possible.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and optimize operations.
