Job summary

GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an experienced KMI/COMSEC Account Manager to lead secure communications operations, manage KOAM responsibilities, and ensure compliance with EKMS standards. The role covers end-to-end COMSEC material accountability, key generation/distribution, inventories, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturing and mission support teams; includes rotating shifts and readiness for nights, weekends, holidays.

Qualifications

• Citizenship requirement: U.S. citizens only with eligibility for government clearances.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–5+ years in COMSEC, KMI, EKMS, or secure communications roles.
• KOAM experience or direct KOAM support responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of COMSEC, EKMS, and KMI standards and accountability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary KOAM for the assigned account.
• Manage COMSEC/KMI/KMI accountability actions and records.
• Generate and distribute electronic keys to ECUs and devices.
• Perform inventories, reconciliations, and required reporting.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, depot, and mission-support teams.
