Job summary

Mansfield Service Partners in Houston, TX is seeking a Knuckle Boom Operator / Equipment Service Technician to support fuel and lubricant equipment operations. You will operate a knuckle-boom crane to place and remove petroleum tanks at customer sites and perform installations, inspections, and repairs on related equipment.

Qualified candidates have a Class A CDL with HazMat Tanker Endorsement, NCCCO crane certification, and at least two years of knuckle-boom/crane truck experience, plus

Qualifications

• Certification in Crane Operations (NCCCO) or equivalent for knuckle boom operations.
• Class A CDL with air brakes and HazMat Tanker endorsement required.
• Two years driving experience operating knuckle boom or crane truck.
• One year mechanical experience (automotive, industrial machinery, valves, pumps).
• One year experience with fuel and lubricant pumps, nozzles, & fittings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a knuckle-boom crane to lift, load, and unload petroleum tanks.
• Deliver and pick up skid tanks and associated hazardous-mat loads.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of crane and equipment.
• Use proper rigging techniques to lift heavy loads safely.
• Inspect rigging gear and ensure load balance and stability.
• Complete tank rig-outs, staging, and equipment installations as required.
• Conduct field service calls, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain tanks, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and fittings.
