Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a responsible Boom Truck driver to deliver tanks to company sites and customers. The driver will ensure efficient completion of duties and safe operation of the vehicle in line with company policy.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, vehicle maintenance, daily safety checks, and accurate paperwork submission. Endorsements and a clean MVR are required, with weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks following regulations.
• Operates trucks safely according to policy and laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and conducts safety inspections.
• Checks oil, water, fuel, tires and related items daily.
• Completes paperwork in accordance with company procedures.

Description

This position is responsible for operating a Boom Truck to deliver tanks to company owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Company policy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.
