Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum in Indiana seeks a Boom Truck Driver to deliver tanks to company sites and customers. You will operate a Boom Truck, perform safety checks, and complete required paperwork.

A valid CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, clean MVR, and ability to pass DOT drug screens are required. Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, and quarterly safety bonuses after 120 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen and meet FMCSA medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections of trucks, equipment and/or facilities.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items daily.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company protocols.

This position is responsible for operating a Boom Truck to deliver tanks to company owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Company policy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections of trucks, equipment and/or facilities.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items daily.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company protocols.
