Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a Boom Truck Driver to deliver tanks to company sites and customers. You will operate a Boom Truck, load/unload tanks, and ensure compliant, efficient completion of duties while following company policies.

The role emphasizes safety, regular maintenance, and accurate paperwork, with the ability to handle weekend shifts if needed and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
• Hazmat endorsement is REQUIRED.
• Tanker endorsement is REQUIRED.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA physical/medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks following regulations.
• Safely operates boom truck and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Performs routine safety inspections and checks oil, water, tires daily.
• Completes and transmits paperwork per company protocols.

This position is responsible for operating a Boom Truck to deliver tanks to company owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Company policy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains Vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections of trucks, equipment and/or facilities.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items daily.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company protocols.
