Great Lakes Petroleum Co. in Carmel, IN, seeks an experienced Boom Truck Driver to deliver tanks to company sites and customers, adhering to all safety rules and company policies.

You will load/unload tanks, perform daily vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate paperwork while delivering reliable, safe service with a focus on customer satisfaction. This full-time role requires a Class A/B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug screen.
• Meet DOT/FMCSA medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks per regulations and company policies.
• Safely operates boom truck according to policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections of trucks and equipment.
• Performs daily checks of oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with company protocols.

This position is responsible for operating a Boom Truck to deliver tanks to company owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Company policy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections of trucks, equipment and/or facilities.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items daily.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company protocols.
