Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA is seeking a Business Analyst / Knowledge Manager in Philadelphia, PA to support a U.S. Navy shipbuilding program. Responsibilities include building and running information systems, leading the transition to modern collaboration tools, and managing program events from reviews to ceremonies.

The role combines knowledge management with business analysis to ensure timely, accurate deliverables and secure information handling for export-controlled data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, knowledge management, program support, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience administering SharePoint sites, including libraries, permissions, and metadata.
• Experience leading or supporting user adoption of collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proven ability to plan and execute events with many stakeholders and moving parts.
• Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required. ITAR/export-control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge Management: Manage SharePoint environment, structure, libraries, metadata, permissions, version control.
• Lead transition to SharePoint, Teams, and related tools; create training and quick-reference guides.
• Drive adoption with hands-on support and feedback; fix friction points.
• Configure workflows with Power Automate to reduce manual tracking.
• Protect ITAR/EAR and CUI with proper access controls.
• Coordinate information flow among HDUSA, Philly Shipyard, Hanwha Ocean, and partners.
• Capture lessons learned and preserve institutional knowledge.
