Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Manager of Procurement in Philadelphia, PA, on-site, to lead and develop the procurement and supply chain function for production programs.

You will establish sourcing strategies, manage a high-performing team, and drive supplier performance while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency across domestic and international operations. The role focuses on shipbuilding materials, material planning with production, and enforcing DFARS and Build America Act

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience in shipbuilding or manufacturing strongly preferred.
• CostPoint by Deltek experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy for shipbuilding materials.
• Coordinate material planning with production.
• Localize supply base to meet Build America Act through strategy and supplier development.
• Monitor performance and compliance of shipyard procurement teams.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, qualification, and performance management.
• Manage supply chain risk, contingency planning, and disruption mitigation.
• Oversee delivery schedule management and cross-functional coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, hazmat, and import/export regulations.
• Manage supplier relationships with licensors and equipment vendors.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Compliance, Finance.
• Support DFARS and domestic sourcing obligations in defense procurement.
• Collaborate with logistics partners for international transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
