Job summary

Black Cape seeks a Data Engineer (Knowledge Graph Specialist) in Bethesda, MD, onsite 3–5 days/week in a SCIF. Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI poly.

The role focuses on graph-based data modeling, knowledge graphs, and cloud-native web applications for federal government customers. The ideal candidate has 1.5+ years of professional experience and a background in intelligence analysis, data analytics, and software development within classified environments.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 1.5+ years of professional experience.
Strong grasp of graph theory and data modeling for structuring multi-dimensional relationships.
Experience with graph databases such as Anzograph, Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
Familiarity with Cypher, SQL and SPARQL query languages.
Familiarity with Python and shell scripting; Linux systems (RedHat).
Experience with software development teams and working in classified environments.
