Job summary

Black Cape in Bethesda, MD seeks a Data Engineer (Knowledge Graph Specialist) to join a team building cloud-native data solutions for federal customers. You will design graph-based data models, work with graph databases, and contribute to analytics and ML capabilities in secure environments.

Onsite work 3–5 days per week with TS/SCI clearance required or pending; collaboration with DoW/IC teams is essential. Strong cross-platform development experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1.5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong graph theory and data modeling skills.
• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Neptune, Anzograph).
• Proficient in Cypher, SQL, and SPARQL.
• Python and shell scripting proficiency.
• Linux (RedHat) systems experience.
• Experience collaborating with software teams.
• Willingness to work in classified environments.
• Experience across MacOS, Windows, Linux.
