Job summary

Delta Workforce in Racine, WI is seeking a knockout operator for an on-site aluminum foundry. You will remove cores from castings, operate shakeout and other equipment, and prepare parts for the next production step.

This is a contract role with a direct-hire opportunity after 520 hours; shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; pay starts at $20–$22 per hour; you will work in a high-temperature foundry environment and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Remove cores from aluminum castings.
• Remove aluminum castings from sand molds after cooling.
• Operate shakeout equipment, jack hammer, or other material handling equipment.
• Inspect castings for defects such as cracks, incomplete fills, or damage.

Job Summary

A knockout operator removes cores from aluminum castings after they come out of the mold, using a jack hammer and other handling equipment, and gets the cast parts ready for the next stage of production. This is physical, hands-on work in a safe, efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove cores from aluminum castings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
