Job summary

Ralsey in New York is seeking a driven design intern to join its knitwear team for a 5–6 month, full-time assignment. You will work closely with design and sourcing to support CAD development, trend research and mood board creation.

Responsibilities include creating tech packs, sourcing components, attending team meetings and preparing showrooms, while building strong relationships with peers and HK team.

Qualifications

• Strong CAD skills with Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Understanding knitted garment construction.
• Full-time role – five days per week.
• Proactive and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop CAD skills (prints, color, trend reports).
• Research trends in color, print, pattern, yarn and embellishment.
• Create mood boards and design presentations.
• Prepare tech packs and master sheets for HK team.
• Sourcing yarn, buttons, trims and other components.
• Assist showroom setups and lookbooks.
• Attend team meetings and account presentations.
