Job summary

Puig Deutschland GmbH, in New York, offers an internship with hands-on experience across departments within the Carolina Herrera brand. The role provides opportunities to work on collection boards, fabric cards, textile artwork, and techpacks, under creative direction.

You’ll gain exposure to design, product development, and backstage show environments. You will be enrolled as a student and participate in a fast-paced, international setting, with learning and development opportunities and

Qualifications

• Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate basic skills required.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Make collection boards, and update seasonal line sheets.
• Prepare knitwear fabric cards once swatches are approved
• Make colorups of illustrations using Photoshop and Illustrator, and/or ProCreate
• Assist with creating of artwork layouts (intarsia, stripes, crochet, jacquards).
• Assist design department and product development team with collection development.
• Shadow Design Department with all department related activities specifically focusing on creating techpacks, preparing packages, daily factory communications
• Participate in Design and Concept Developments
• Shadow Manager with creation and approval of Textile artwork
• Witness the creation and approval of Embroideries and Embellishments
• Participate in the creation and approval of Color Palettes and Inspiration Boards
• Participate in design fittings & take notes during knitwear fittings
• Participate in pre-show styling/fittings
• Participate in backstage runway show, if possible
