Job summary

Giro Pack, Inc. in Vidalia, GA is seeking one Knitting Operator Trainee to support our production operations. The selected candidate will be trained Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; after training you will work 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm) or 3rd shift (10:00 pm–6:00 am), Monday through Friday.

The role is integral to manufacturing fruit/vegetable packaging, operating thirty knitting machines safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate knitting machines correctly and report issues promptly to supervisor/maintenance.
• Complete required production forms.
• Maintain and lubricate production machinery as needed.
• Transfer scrap materials to assigned area.
• Scan and transport finished products to assigned area.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety rules.
