Job summary

Giro Pack, Inc. in Vidalia, GA is seeking a Knitting Assistant ~ General Laborer to support production operations. The role emphasizes safety, cleaning, stocking materials, and assisting the Knitting Operator.

Shift options are 2nd (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) and 3rd (10:00 PM–06:00 AM) Monday–Friday; pay is $15.00 per hour with benefits including 401(k) matching, health and vision insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50 lb).
• Strong hand-eye coordination required.
• Familiarity with power tools or machinery is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Commitment to safety rules and clean work practices.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean and safe by collecting trash and debris.
• Ensure knitting material and core material are stocked.
• Maintain and lubricate production machinery as needed.
• Complete required production forms.
• Transfer scrap materials to designated areas.
• Scan/transport finished products to assigned areas.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
