Job summary

Peraton seeks a KMI Engineer to support the FEMA program at Mount Weather, VA. You will manage COMSEC measures, cryptographic asset handling, and secure key distribution using the KMI platform across DHS infrastructure.

The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility and experience with KMI, CARDS, and DIAS, plus operational proficiency with secure telecom equipment and field training support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with KMI and cryptographic equipment in modernization initiatives.
• US citizenship with TS clearance and SCI eligibility or ability to obtain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage DHS Central Office of Record.
• Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures for the program.
• Conduct audits of COMSEC accounts in compliance with policies.
• Handle cryptographic assets from CCI to Top Secret securely.
• Distribute cryptographic keying material nationwide using KMI.
