Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II - Kitting for our Operations team. This 2nd shift role focuses on coordinating and expediting flow of work and materials across departments to meet production schedules.

You will read orders and BOMs, prepare and move parts, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area. You should be able to interpret blueprints and use measuring tools, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifikationen

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with handheld tools and other measuring devices.
• Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication and/or instruction.

Aufgaben

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules.
• Move totes to tables, checking to ensure all parts are complete, moving parts to shelves, and making copies of paperwork.
• Confers with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual's product line or work cell.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
