Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Kitting Specialist for a contract-to-hire role in Grapevine, TX. You will modify raw materials, perform on-line inspections, seal products in final packaging, and prepare items for sterilization while following QS & GMP standards.

You will work in a clean room, wearing provided PPE, with hours 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position offers growth at a recently opened facility and competitive benefits.

Job description

Job Title: Kitting Specialist

As a Kitting Specialist, you will be responsible for modifying raw materials and ensuring product quality through various inspection processes. You will also seal products in their final packaging configurations and prepare them for sterilization, adhering to quality system and good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Count, cut, measure, fold, or otherwise modify raw materials as per directions found in the Device Master Record.

• Perform on-line inspection of each device as it is produced and report problems to the Production Supervisor for disposition.

• Seal products in final packaging configurations, following proper procedures and machine settings for sealer.

• Prepare packaged work in progress for sterilization and complete necessary documentation and control numbers per QS & GMP.

• Maintain proper inventory control procedures, including product staging, segregation, and rotation.

• Perform and document scheduled facility cleaning per QS.

• Conform to proper Clean Room etiquette.

• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor.

• Contribute to the team effort by completing projects assigned, as needed.

• Communicate and work well with production, purchasing, quality, and management in accomplishing assigned goals and objectives.

• Meet objectives of the quality management system and recommend improvements, as needed.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean room environment, wearing a smock, hair net, shoe covers, and gloves, all provided by the client. The work hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grapevine, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
