Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an Inspector 1 in Covington, GA to support quality control at the Global Distribution Center. The role involves visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, verifying specifications, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, $16/hour on W-2, with 12+ months duration. The position requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years in QC; proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Word.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with adherence to Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

Verify all products meet current specifications and update procedures before inspection/kitting.
Review and audit incoming DHRs for required documentation prior to release.
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections per procedures and specs.
Ensure all components are present before the kitting process.
Collaborate with operations and communicate issues promptly.
Initiate and disposition non-conforming product before release.
Report all deviations to Quality Management or Supervisor.
Ensure equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
Maintain receipt, issuance, and control of all documentation; perform other duties.
