Job summary

Ride Designs in Mt Juliet, TN is seeking a Picking Lead (Material Handler) to guide daily material flow, coordinate order picking, kitting, and delivery to production lines, ensuring on-time availability and inventory accuracy.

You will train team members, support safety and quality requirements, and collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Planning to prevent shortages and sustain continuous production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and comprehend work orders and instructions in English.
• Experience leading or coordinating employees preferred.
• Knowledge of JDE or similar inventory system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily picking priorities based on production schedule.
• Build complete kits for production work orders using pick lists and systems.
• Deliver kits and replenishment materials to production lines on time.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and respond to line-side material requests quickly.
• Train and coach team members on procedures and safety.
• Monitor performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
