Job summary

DSV is hiring a Driver - Kitting B Shift (2 PM-10:30 PM) at our USA location. The role involves loading and unloading freight, verifying shipment details, and delivering goods to customer sites while maintaining safety and security checks for all operations.

You will coordinate with warehouse teams and adapt to changing requests in a fast-paced environment. Expect daily use of RF systems and adherence to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
• Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations
• Must perform and maintain daily safety checks as it relates to vehicle assigned
• Must perform and maintain daily security checks as it relates to freight being moved
• Deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles
• Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Maintains radio or telephone contact
• Interact with warehouse / data center team members to maximize output and efficiency
• Must adapt to frequent change requests due to fast changing environment
• Ensure proper documentation for any Hazardous Materials being moved
• Inspect truck and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness and notifies supervisor of current or anticipated repairs
• Use RF and/or Computer System for Trailer Inventory ControlMeet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers, including but not limited to those as determined and set out by the Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
