Job summary

Kelly Services in Fargo, ND is seeking a Kitting Associate – 1st Shift to support electronic assembly operations, manage inventories, and prepare parts for open work orders. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with a pay rate of $20.20 per hour.

You will maintain logs, follow 5S practices, and work closely with a Production Supervisor to resolve issues. Ideal candidates are at least 18, hold a HS diploma or GED (or warehouse experience), and can stand for 8 hours while lifting up to

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED, or 2–3 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• High degree of manual dexterity and the ability to accurately count parts and perform basic math
• English proficiency sufficient for workplace conversation and comprehension of instructions and safety documentation
• Basic computer skills for logging in, simple data entry, and navigating key applications (e.g., Outlook)
• Availability for occasional weekend overtime as required
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Support electronic assembly operations through equipment setup, general operation, and routine preventative maintenance and calibrations
• Perform inventory transactions accurately
• Pull jobs and parts for open work orders
• Execute kitting/prepping activities according to manufacturing processes and manuals
• Maintain equipment logs and participate in continuous improvement activities
• Communicate team issues to the Production Supervisor and assist in resolving challenges
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following 5S principles
