Award Staffing in Rogers, MN is seeking an Assembly candidate for 1st shift. The role involves mechanical and adhesive assembly, reading blueprints, riveting, bolting, and hand tool operation on the shop floor.

This temp-to-hire position pays $18.00-$20.00 per hour, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with steel toe boots required and lifting up to 75 lbs. Prior fabrication tools experience preferred; ERP system literacy is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Previous mechanical assembly preferred.
• Experience with fabrication tools: drills, caulking guns, squares, calipers, protractors, tape measures, grinders.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn ERP system.
• Lifting 50lbs+; team lift up to 75 lbs.
• Standing for long durations.
• Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
• Steel toe boots required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Assembly lead about what needs to be assembled.
• Mechanical assembly and adhesive assembly.
• Riveting, bolting, screwing, and gluing components together.
• Assemble per provided blueprints.
• Adapt to changing workplace situations.
