Job summary

Sur La Table in Seattle, WA is seeking a Sales Associate to inspire customers through every step of their culinary experience. You will support daily operations, deliver a best-in-center customer experience, and help drive sales by sharing product knowledge.

You will engage customers, identify needs, recommend products, and maintain visual merchandising standards while processing transactions and assisting with store opening/closing procedures. A friendly, team-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
• Maintain expertise by staying current on products, actively engaging in available training, and independently seeking out additional resources.
• Actively engage customers, identify their needs, recommend relevant products or experiences, and lead a customer-focused, Guest Obsessed culture.
• Maximize selling opportunities by identifying customer needs and offering relevant solutions.
• Promote add-on sales and support events that grow store traffic and customer engagement.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals, contributing to overall store revenue.
