Job summary

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Worker- Banquets to handle cleanliness and sanitation of pots, pans, china, glassware, and silverware. On-site role requiring ability to stand long shifts and work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will assist with restocking buffet lines, polishing equipment, emptying trash, and supporting banquet dish-ups under supervision. Prior dishwasher or janitorial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as hotel/restaurant dishwasher or in janitorial/cleaning position.
• Able to convey information clearly and timely.
• Works well under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness and sanitation for pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware.
• Wash floor mats, kettles, and restock buffet lines with ice and supplies.
• Polish silverware and keep work area organized and safe.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of loading dock and back areas.
• Assist with banquet dish-ups as directed by supervisor.
• Adhere to health, sanitation and safety regulations.

Job Summary

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation for all pots and pans. Responsible of washing china, glassware, silverware, mopping and sweeping floors, and keeping their work area clean and organized.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation for all pots and pans.
  Responsible of washing china, glassware, silverware, mopping and sweeping floors, and keeping their work area clean and organized.
• Responsible of washing floor mats, speed racks, queenmarys, kettles, roasting pans, dollies, etc. Responsible for re-stocking the buffet lines with ice, china, flatware, and glassware.
• Responsible of polishing all silver equipment as needed/or directed.
• Responsible of emptying trash cans and keeping the loading dock clean.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the floors as directed by the supervisor.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of all walk-ins, freezers, reach-ins and back hallways.
• Will help in banquet dish ups as needed or directed by his/her supervisor.
• The kitchen worker will adhere to all Health department, sanitation and safety regulations as required by the Paris.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience as hotel/restaurant dishwasher or in janitorial/cleaning position.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly and timely.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful and high-pressure situations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Heavy work-exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
