Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. in Wareham, MA is seeking a Kitchen Worker to support the main kitchen in the Food & Nutrition Department. You will help serve hot meals, wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and assist customers in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires following instructions, basic food-safety knowledge, and availability for weekend/holiday rotation. Pay ranges from USD 16.80 to 22.60 per hour with a strong benefits package and 403B plan.

Qualifications

• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or exempt by signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Serve hot food to customers.

We are searching for a talented Kitchen Worker

Hours:12hrs

Shift:Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Food Service Operations or designee provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department, including serving hot food, washing dishes, sanitizing kitchen equipment, portioning food, checking expiration labels on food and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures are preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $16.80 - USD $22.60 /Hr.
