Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dedicated utility worker to support our kitchen teams with day hours, no nights and no weekends. You will help with dishwashing, cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary work area.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and store dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
• Sweep and mop floors by hand or with a machine.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers and trash receptacles as required.
• Follow procedures for trash storage and disposal.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas; maintain a clean environment.
• Assist team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work station.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dress code standards.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
