Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety Co. is seeking a Hood Cleaning Technician to join our team in Oklahoma City. You will clean, inspect, and maintain kitchen hoods and exhaust systems to prevent fire hazards and ensure NFPA 96 compliance.

You will work directly with clients to deliver high-quality service and maintain clean, safe kitchen environments. The role requires physical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with specialized cleaning equipment or methods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Basic understanding of kitchen ventilation systems and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to lift and perform physical labor, up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen hoods, ducts, filters, and exhaust fans.
• Inspect ventilation systems and report issues or hazards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs for proper operation.
• Prepare and submit service reports with before/after photos.
• Communicate with clients to schedule service and share findings.
