Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is hiring a Utility Worker to join our culinary team. This role handles dishwashing, pot and pan washing, general cleaning, and storage of supplies.

The position is offered as full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, starting at $15.00 per hour. The role emphasizes a supportive environment with opportunities to learn, earn DailyPay, and participate in incentive programs for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English, understand measurements, make basic conversions, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions.
• Some bussing, dishwashing, general cleaning and/or stocking experience but will train.
• Ability to plan and organize work and to interpret instructions and standards.

Responsibilities

• Sets up dishes and pot washing areas.
• Scrapes, scrubs and prewashes pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
• Loads and runs all items through the dish machine.

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individualto join our culinary team as a Utility Worker that performs a number of kitchen activities including dishwashing, pot and pan washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies.
