We are currently hiring Utility Workers to work at our restaurants located inside the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, KY.

Our Utility positions at SSP play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our restaurants for both guests and staff.

As a Utility Worker, you can expect to:

1. Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
2. Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment (floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, storage areas, etc.)
3. Remove refuse to designated areas
4. Clear and reset tables in dining areas and transport service-ware for cleaning
5. Scrape and wash dishes, pots, and pans, using dishwashers or by hand
6. Clean equipment with appropriate chemicals, potentially using heavy equipment
7. Assist guests with requests and communicate special needs to staff
8. Load/unload supply trucks and transfer items between storage and work areas
9. Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
10. Perform other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Is at least 18 years old
• Has at least 6 months of experience in retail or food service
• Possesses a high school diploma (preferred)
• Has good verbal and written communication skills
• Can read, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively
• Has experience in guest service problem-solving
• Holds a food handler permit, as required by law
• Possesses any required brand certifications
• Can stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
