Job summary

Potawatomi Hotel & Casino is seeking a Hotel Restaurant Utility Steward to maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support back-of-house operations. You will load and operate dishwashing equipment, distribute clean dishware, and help maintain sanitation standards in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires the ability to work irregular hours, stand for long periods, and lift up to 60 pounds with assistance. ServSafe certification within 90 days is preferred, with a focus on guest service and integrity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification within 90 days preferred/required
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Professional interaction with guests and team members
• Ability to work irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
• Physically demanding environment requiring lifting up to 60 pounds with assistance

Responsibilities

• Load dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils into racks and dishwashing machines and rewash as needed
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines including cleaning and draining
• Distribute clean dishware and utensils to assigned venue(s)
• Remove, sort, and dispose of trash according to guidelines
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas with sanitation procedures
• Assist in maintaining temperature and breakage logs
• Comply with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
