Job summary

Osage Casinos is seeking a kitchen utility to wash and sanitize equipment, stock and maintain clean work areas, and assist in food preparation. The role supports cooks and maintains sanitary conditions in a fast-paced casino kitchen environment.

Candidate must be at least 18, pass a drug screen, and be eligible to work in the United States. Experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work evenings/weekends is common in this setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures information from management is communicated to staff and relayed back to management.
• Presides over staff meetings to facilitate information flow.
• Keeps up with company communications via emails, boards, and SharePoint.
• Loads, runs, and unloads the dish machine.
• Stores clean tableware and kitchenware properly.
• Prepares and maintains work areas with adequate clean tableware for dining and kitchen.
• Monitors dish machine temperature and chemical usage for sanitary wash cycles.
• Cleans and maintains food prep and production areas.
• Uses detergents and cleaning supplies safely and maintains stock levels.
• Reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Receives and stores deliveries of food and beverages.
• Buses tables and handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage.
• Breaks down boxes and disposes of garbage and recyclables to designated areas.
• Cleans floors, walls, wash areas, counters, and shelves.
• Assists cooks with storing food and unloading deliveries.
• Operates safely and complies with regulations.
• Contributes to teamwork and completes related tasks as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
