Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a full-time Utility Worker to keep our healthcare kitchen running smoothly. You will wash dishes, sanitize prep areas, and assist with deliveries and stocking while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided; you will join a friendly, team-focused environment with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Some prior experience in a kitchen, food service, or janitorial role helpful; willingness to learn and follow detailed sanitation and cleaning procedures required.
• Food handling certification preferred; local food safety certification required in any jurisdiction of employment.
• Must be able to speak and read English sufficient to understand job assignments, follow cleaning procedures, and communicate with the team and management.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas and surfaces.
• Take out trash and keep storage areas organized.
• Assist with food deliveries and supply stocking.
• Help the team with basic kitchen tasks when needed.
