Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dedicated utility worker for a 10:30am - 7:30pm shift Thursday through Monday. You will wash, scrub, and store dishes, sweep and mop floors, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

You must be reliable, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and follow food safety guidelines. The role includes uniforms, PPE, training, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned food service company.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able work in standing position for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Maintain clean work environment.
• Assists other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with department dress code.
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
