Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dependable Utility Worker to handle dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen support during day hours. No nights or weekends. The role includes ensuring food safety, maintaining a clean station, and assisting the team as needed.

Be punctual, follow directions, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Uniforms and PPE are provided. This position offers steady hours and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned food service management company.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in standing position for long periods of time.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required.
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
